  • Qualifications: Form IV/VI plus Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Marine or Natural Resource Management. Military training is an advantage

3. Tanzania Fisheries Research Institute (TAFIRI)

3.1 Skipper

  • Qualifications: Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Marine Transport, Navigation, or equivalent

3.2 Fishing Master II

  • Number of Posts: 1

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Transport, Nautical Science, or equivalent

3.3 Receptionist II

  • Qualifications: CSEE and Certificate in Reception, Front Office, or equivalent

4. Tanzania Veterinary Laboratory Agency (TVLA)

4.1 Laboratory Scientist II (Laboratory Science & Biotechnology)

  • Number of Posts: 2

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science and Biotechnology

  • Salary Scale: TVLA 4

4.2 Laboratory Scientist II (Biomedical Engineering)

  • Number of Posts: 1

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science, Laboratory Technology, or Biomedical Engineering

  • Salary Scale: TVLA 4

4.3 Laboratory Scientist II (Biomedical Engineering)

  • Number of Posts: 1

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering

4.4 Veterinary Research Officer II

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine or Science; must be registered by the Veterinary Council of Tanzania

  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged not more than 45 years
